TRACK AND FIELD

Kohler Glen Funk Invitational

KOHLER - Sheboygan Area Lutheran edged Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 113-106 to win the boys title and Ozaukee took first in the girls meet with 112 points, 10 better than Brookfield Academy.

Kohler, Ozaukee, Brookfield Academy, Living Word Lutheran, St. Lawrence Seminary, Chesterton Academy, Salam, University Lake and Washington County Home School finished third through 11th, respectively, in the boys meet.

Living Word Lutheran, Sheboygan Area Lutheran, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Kohler, Chesterton Academy, University Lake and Washington County Home School finished third through ninth, respectively, in the girls meet.

In the boys meet, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah’s Yukie Sesoko swept the hurdles, winning the 110-meter event with a time of :17.53 and the 300-meter event with a time of :44.83.

Zach Glewen of Sheboygan Area Lutheran won the high jump at a height of 5-8 and the triple jump with a jump of 39-6.

In the girls meet, Ariana Parnitzke of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah won the 100 in :13.01 and the 200 with a time of :27.45.

Ozaukee’s Rebecca Hoffmann took the 100 hurdles with a time of :17.44 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :50.54.

Rose Hahn of Sheboygan Area Lutheran took first in the long jump with a jump of 16-1 and in the triple jump with a jump of 34-3.

St. Norbert Elite Meet

DE PERE - Wausau West won both the boys and girls titles with 125 and 126 points, respectively, with Port Washington taking second in the boys meet and Notre Dame second in the girls meet.

In the boys meet, Denmark’s Simon Alexander took first in the 100-meter dash (:10.96) and the 200 (:22.87).

In the girls meet, Ashwaubenon’s Brooke Mader won the shot put with a put of 35-1 and the discus with a throw of 102-10.

Notre Dame’s Hope Barington won both hurdles events, taking the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :16.41 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :49.69. Notre Dame’s Danika Apple won the 100 and 200 with times of :12.76 and :27.16, respectively.

Rylee Brotz of Sheboygan South won the 1,600 with a time of 5:38.77 and the 2K Steeplechase with a time of 8:25.85.

Brillion Sting Cancer Invitational

BRILLION - Manitowoc Lutheran edged Kiel for the girls title 147-146.83, while Kiel piled up 177 points to win the boys title.

St. Mary Catholic, Brillion, Wrightstown, Roncalli, Chilton and Mishicot fiished third through eighth, respectively, in the girls meet.

Brillion, Wrightstown, St. Mary Catholic, Manitowoc Lutheran, Roncalli, Mishicot and Chilton were second through eighth, respectively, in the boys meet.

In the girls meet, Emily Marohn of Manitowoc Lutheran swept the hurdles (:50.60, 300 meters; :17.45, 100 meters) and also won the triple jump (34-1.75). Teammate Brooklyn Luebke won the 1,600 with a time of 5:32.74, the 800 with a time of 2:29.03 and the 3,200 with a time of 12:21.43. Monraye Ermis won the shot put with a put of 35-11 and the discus with a throw of 107-11.

Brillion’s Megan Schuman won the 200 (:28.12) and the high jump (16-9.50).

In the boys meet, Wrightstown’s Logan Peters won the discus with a throw of 147-1 and the shot put with a put of 41-9.

Brayden Riemer of Roncalli took first in the 100 (:11.41) and the 200 (:23.68), as well as the 400 (:53.21).

Brillion’s Alex Metko won both the 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 4:40.18 and 10:18.82, respectively.

SOFTBALL

Manitowoc 15, Greendale 1

MANITOWOC - Kailee Ansorage went 3-for-4 with three singles and four stolen bases as the Ships rolled to the nonconference win.

Jordan Reilly stole three bases and had one RBI, while Karenna Sorenson had three RBI. Also powering the offense were KT Moore, who was 1-for-1 with an RBI; Molly Bailey with a single, an RBI and one stolen base; Lizzy Stuebs, who went 2-for-3 with two triples and two RBI; Olivia Konkle, who went 2-for-4 with a double and a single with three RBI; and Tina Knox, who had two RBI and a stolen base.

BASEBALL

Chilton 6, Valders 3

CHILTON - Austin Grube had two hits and Ryan Pierquet stole three bases to lead the Tigers.

Grube had a double and an RBI. Hunter Rolbiecki drove in two runs for Chilton.

Max Mueller pitchd four innings to get the win. He allowed three runs (two earned) and struck out three. Alex Breckheimer pitched three innings, didn’t allow a hit and struck out seven.

Kayden Kish, Otis Berge and Mason Meyers hit doubles for Valders.
