WAUSAU - The Warriors rallied from a 17-6 halftime deficit to defeat the Red Raiders.

Ray Reineck had 22 carries for 213 yards and three touchdowns for West.

Rapids was led by Leo Brostowitz, who ran 34 times for 244 yards and two touchdowns.

STEVENS POINT - The Panthers built a 17-7 halftime lead and held on for the Valley Football Association win.

Grant Chandonais threw two touchdown passes for SPASH, while Broden Butzin had two touchdown passes for Hortonville.

WESTON - Jack Bobinski threw for four touchdowns, including three to Preston Miller, in the Evergreens’ win over the Terrors.

Miller caught passes of 4, 17 and 30 yards from Bobinski. Clay Homan also had a 66-yard touchdown pass from Bobinski. Blake Bangtson also had a pair of 4-yard touchdown runs as D.C. Everest led 42-6 at the half.

Ben Vallafskey had a 95-yard kickoff return for Appleton West (1-2) and an 82-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. EJ Holt had a 62-yard touchdown pass from Ryder Hoffman.

Amherst 14, Shiocton 7

AMHERST - Matthew Glodowski scored two rushing touchdowns to power the Falcons to the win over the Chiefs.

Glodowski scored on a 9-yard run with 7:46 remaining in the first quarter, then added a 5-yard scoring run on the first play of the fourth quarter to give Amherst a 14-0 lead.

Shiocton scored on a 2-yard pass from Dawson Schmidt to Dylan Herb with 10:06 remaining in the game.

Amherst converted on fourth-and-1 at its own 44 on a 3-yard run by Glodowski with 7:50 remaining and converted another fourth-and-4 with a pass completion to continue the drive and was able to run out the clock.

SPENCER - The Chargers got two touchdowns from Kaden Yaeger and two from Nathan Waupekenay and limited the Rockets to just 74 yards of offense in rolling to the win.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood averaged 8.2 yards per play while holding Spencer/Columbus Catholic to just 2.0 yards per play.

David Gauderman led W-B with 60 yards rushing. Waupekenay passed for 111 yards.

Spencer/Columbus Catholic was led by Teddy Meyer, who passed for 39 yards.

MOSINEE - Gavin Obremski passed for 232 yards and four touchdowns to lead Mosinee to the win over the Thunderbirds.

Davin Stoffel and Blake Nichols were the prime beneficiaries of Obremski’s passes. Stoffel caught four passes for 101 yards. Nichols caught four passes for 72 yards.

Mosinee is now 1-1-1, while Lakeland fell to 0-3.

IOLA - The Hornets scored on runs of 30, 27, 35, 45 and 34 yards in the first quarter and finished with 407 rushing yards in the win over the Thunderbirds.

Iola-Scandinavia’s scores came on 78- and 68-yard runs by Parker Gullixon in the third quarter and a 31-yard run by Ryan Kampert in the fourth quarter.

Gullixon finished with 153 yards rushing on 10 carries. He also completed 7-of-13 passes for 39 yards.

Caden Healy led Colby with 96 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while Mateo Lopez had 72 yards rushing and three touchdowns, including a 45-yard punt return.

WEYAUWEGA - The Warhawks, who built a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter, piled up 411 yards of offense in the win over the Papermakers.

Johnathan Wenzel led Nekoosa with 168 yards rushing on 22 carries, while Nashua Krcmar completed 8-of-21 passes for 109 yards and one touchdown pass to Francisco Vega.

Pulaski 4, Wausau East 1

WAUSAU - The Red Raiders defeated the Lumberjacks as Pulaski got goals from four players.

Austin Decker, Ryan Drafz, Lucas Stubbe and Hudson Schulz each scored for Pulaski, with Decker also getting an assist.

Mason Baker and Gaven Haldemann split time in goal for Pulaski and combined for four saves.

Brecken Bancuk scored for Wausau East, with Noah Rhea getting an assist.

Connor Smith had 16 saves for the Lumberjacks.
