Jack Kangas, Ben Tomassetti and Heil each had two assists for Appleton.

United goalie Brandon Tobak made 27 saves.

Madison West 7, Marshfield 1

MADISON - The Regents scored six goals in the second period to break open the game.

Tyler Reissmann scored the only goal for Marshfield.

Madison West was led by Quinn Smith with three goals and three assists.

Medford 4, Viroqua 3

VIROQUA - Miles Searles scored in overtime to lift the Raiders to the victory.

Searles finished with two goals and an assist. Logan Koski and Mason Harris also scored for Medford. Noah Machon had two assists.

Medford goalie Talan Albers had 24 saves.

Notre Dame 5, Chippewa Falls 2

ASHWAUBENON - The Tritons scored three goals in the first period to take control in beating the Cardinals.

Notre Dame goals were scored by Keegan McCarron, Michael McIntee, Joseph Coghlin, Brenden Gruber and James Flanigan. Nathan Antti had two assists for the Tritons.

Goalie Lleyton Jaschke made 14 saves for Notre Dame.

Ashland 8, Oshkosh 5

MADISON - Ty Obey had three goals and three assists to lead the Oredockers to the victory.

Oshkosh goals were scored by Kevin Lynch, Toivo Virtanen, Winston Knobloch, Matthew Sheppard and Isaiah Koeppen.

Ice Hawks goalie Gage Bauer made 22 saves.

Wisconsin Rapids 6, Tomah/Sparta 2

WISCONSIN DELLS - Carter Morrison and Michael McDonald each scored two goals for the Red Raiders in the win.

Carsen Gause and Josh Dekarske also scored for Rapids, while Gause and Trevor Vilbaum each had two assists.

Rapids goalie Milo Spurlin made 17 saves.

Sheboygan 5, Milton 1

STOUGHTON - Drake Moberg scored two goals for the Red Raiders in the win over the Red Hawks.

Nolan Buchaklian, Ian Ledermann and Brady McAndrews also scored for Sheboygan.

Sheboygan goalie Zane Vande Hey made 23 saves.

Middleton 4, St. Mary’s Springs 1

ASHWAUBENON - Jonathan Korb scored a goal in the third period off an assist from Talan Blanck for the Ledgers in the loss to the Cardinals.

Springs goalie Memphis Young made 26 saves.

Verona 7, Wausau West 1

ASHWAUBENON - Grant Halmstad scored in the third period for Wausau West in the loss to the Wildcats.

Thomas Gerum and Caden Bohlin had assists for the Warriors.

Wausau West goalies Parks Guenther (21 saves) and Matt Leopold (3 saves) combined to stop 24 shots.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Central Wisconsin 3, St. Croix Valley 2

MADISON - Gabi Heuser’s goal in the second overtime period lifted Central Wisconsin to the victory over the Fusion.

Tristan Wicklund and Hannah Baumann also scored for the Storm.

Storm goalie Claire Calmes made 41 saves.
