APPLETON - The Lightning defense held the Patriots to 85 total yards and forced a pair of crucial turnovers en route to the Fox Valley Association win at Paul Engen Field.

Appleton North mustered 199 yards of offense with 108 yards coming on 21 Jack Robinson rushes, including a 36-yard touchdown run for the game’s lone TD.

KAUKAUNA - Osvaldo Soto Sanchez’s 25-yard field goal with under a minute remaining helped to lift the Ghosts past the Cardinals in thrilling fashion.

Noah Hofmann had 295 yards on 35 carries and three touchdowns for the Ghosts (4-2, 3-1 Fox Valley Association).

Tanner Dalske had a pair of touchdowns for Fond du Lac, including a 70-yard run that gave the Cardinals (3-3, 2-2) a 28-27 lead in the fourth quarter.

Sanchez also had field goals of 39 and 22 yards earlier in the game.

Neenah 42, Oshkosh North 20

OSHKOSH - The Rockets and Spartans traded blows throughout the first half, but Neenah stifled Oshkosh North’s offense after the break to run away with the victory.

Neenah’s ground attack was too much to handle as the Rockets ripped off touchdown runs of 65, 57, and 15 yards courtesy of quarterback Evan Vanevenhoven and running back Jase Jenkins. Grant Dean added a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown and grabbed a Vanevenhoven pass from 27 yards away for his second score of the night.

The Spartans opened up the scoring on their first drive with a Quintin Fisher touchdown catch from Hunter Carlson. Oshkosh North’s quarterback would go on to throw another touchdown pass to Drake Moxon in the second quarter and then run 47 yards for another trip to the end zone on the ground before the half.

MENASHA - Enock Mulungula rushed for 101 yards on eight carries to lead the Bluejays to the win over the Redwings.

Menasha, which led 40-0 at halftime, had 240 yards rushing and 102 yards passing and ran 56 plays compared to 30 for Sheboygan South.

Sheboygan South mustered just 32 yards of total offense.

LITTLE CHUTE - Charlie Vanden Burgt threw for five touchdowns, including a pair to Hunter Thiel, in the Mustangs’ victory over the Foxes at Fitzpatrick Field.

The win improved Little Chute to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the North Eastern Conference. FVL dropped to 5-1 and 3-1 in league play.

Vanden Burgt finished with 278 yards and was 10-of-15 in attempts. He had scoring strikes to Tyler Fischer (41 yards), Caden Kerrigan (86), Hunter Thiel (28, 24) and Cal Maronek (79).

Jack Egan scored FVL’s lone touchdown on a 3-yard score in the fourth.

Clintonville 45, Northland Pines 7

EAGLE RIVER - Kade Rosenow completed 11-of-11 passes for 323 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Truckers to the win over the Eagles.

Jordan Wegener caught five of Rosenow’s passes for 127 yards, while Samuel Wegener caught four for 151 yards.

Zach Spaulding rushed for 115 yards for Clintonville.

Defensively, the Truckers limited Northland Pines to just 142 yards of offense.

WEYAUWEGA - The Falcons scored the final three touchdowns of the game to rally and defeat the Warhawks where the two teams totaled 961 yards of offense.

Amherst rushed for 375 yards while Weyauwega-Fremont rushed for 239 yards and passed for 253.

Matthew Glodowski rushed for 165 yards for Amherst, while Jake Derezinski rushed for 111 and Nasiah Holland added 99 yards.

For Weyauwega-Fremont, Kameron Zielke passed for 231 yars and rushed for 198. Brayden Arndt caught 10 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns.

Danny Griffith added 208 yards passing and four touchdowns, with Atticus Johnson catching four balls for 150 yards and three scores.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was led by Brody Feldmann, who caught three passes for 100 yards.
