Wausau West 27, Stevens Point 17

STEVENS POINT - Bryce Jaworski’s 10-yard touchdown reception from Vince Hanz in the fourth quarter put the Warriors up by three scores and clinched the win over the Panthers.

Wausau West was able to move the ball on the ground as Ray Reineck led the charge with 27 carries for 214 yards.

Stevens Point preferred to go through the air, passing for 283 yards courtesy of Grant Chandonais. Peyton Pumper caught 12 of his passes for 121 yards.

Wisconsin Rapids 28, D.C. Everest 21

SCHOFIELD - The Red Raiders were able to move the ball on the ground, rushing for 229 yards in the win over the Evergreens.

Leo Brostowitz led Wisconsin Rapids with 92 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns. Teal Lucas added 78 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Wisconsin Rapids was 8-of-13 on third-down plays while D.C. Everest was just 3-of-10.

D.C. Everest finished with 234 yards of offense, with only 30 coming on the ground.

COLBY - The Hornets outgained the Panthers 242-115 yards, limiting Pittsville’s offense to minus-17 yards rushing on 27 attempts.

Caden Healy ran for 104 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries to lead Colby. Mateo Lopez opened the scoring with a 14-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Kaden Wiese would add to the lead on a 3-yard pass from quarterback Tucker Meyer in the second. Healy put the Hornets up 21-0 with his score in the third.

The Panthers finally reached the end zone to begin the fourth quarter on a Jake Hardinger 6-yard touchdown run, but their two-point conversion attempt failed. Waylon Grimm had three catches for 72 yards and Braden Friday added four catches for 55 yards.

WEYAUWEGA - The Falcons scored the final three touchdowns of the game to rally and defeat the Warhawks where the two teams totaled 961 yards of offense.

Amherst rushed for 375 yards while Weyauwega-Fremont rushed for 239 yards and passed for 253.

Matthew Glodowski rushed for 165 yards for Amherst, while Jake Derezinski rushed for 111 and Nasiah Holland added 99 yards.

For Weyauwega-Fremont, Kameron Zielke passed for 231 yars and rushed for 198. Brayden Arndt caught 10 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns.

NEKOOSA - Nashua Krcmar passed for three touchdowns to lead the Papermakers over the Rockets.

Jadan Hughes reeled in a couple of those touchdown throws for Nekoosa, finishing with three grabs for 52 yards. Brandon Wintlend also had three catches for 52 yards and the other receiving touchdown.

Jonathan Wenzel led the Papermakers in rushing with 17 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown.

Leaders for the Rockets included Kyle Nieman, who carried 15 times for 87 yards, and Carter Luepke who had 13 carries for 64 yards.

AUBURNDALE - The Eagles outscored the Raiders 22-0 in the second quarter to pull away for the victory.

Auburndale improved to 6-0 with the victory.

Marathon fell to 3-3.
