Marshfield 73, Wausau East 60

MARSHFIELD - The Tigers’ Brooks Hinson made 10-of-14 field goals, including six 3-pointers, to finish with 29 points in Marshfield’s win over the Lumberjacks.

Braxton Kurth and Luke LeMoine added 14 and 12 points, respectively, for Marshfield.

The victory improves Marshfield’s record to 9-0 and clinched a share of the conference title in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Marshfield has a three-game lead over second-place D.C. Everest with three conference games to play.

Jesse Napgezek led Wausau East with 15 points. Jayden Garrett added 13.

SCHOFIELD - The Evengreens handed the Panthers their third conference loss to drop Stevens Point to 5-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

D.C. Everest improves to 6-3.

Stevens Point was led by Grant Chandonais with 17 points and Jack Diekleman with 15 points.

Almond-Bancroft 43, Pittsville 27

PITTSVILLE - The Blackhawks limited Pittsville to eight points in the first half in the win over the Panthers.

Ayden Phillips led Almond-Bancroft with 16 points. T.J. Lamb added 10.

Marcus Getsinger led Pittsville with eight points.

PRENTICE - The Eagles shot 65% from the floor in defeating the Buccaneers.

Lucas Yeske led Auburndale with 30 points. Alex Willfahrt scored 20 points and had six assists. Mason White Eagle scored 13 points and added six steals, and Caden Weinfurter scored 12 points.

Layne Blomberg led Prentice with 24 points.

ATHENS - The Bluejays took a 12-point halftime lead and held on for the win over the Royals.

Connor Sheahan led Athens with 17 points. Andy Schaer and Aiden Janke added 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Janke also had 11 rebounds.

RHINELANDER - Mosinee improved to 11-9 overall and 8-2 in the Great Northern Conference with the win over the Hodags.

Taelyn Jirschele scored 23 points to lead Mosinee. Britt Fitzgerald and Kaitlyn Selle added 16 and 13, respectively.

Ava Lamers led Rhinelander with 23 points.

PLAINFIELD - Emma Bowden had 16 points, six steals and three assists to lead the Panthers to the victory over the Penguins.

Brynn Friday had a double-double for Pittsville with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Gwyn Kumm had eight points and 10 rebounds.

Athens 59, Assumption 54 (Thursday)

ATHENS - The Bluejays got 17 points from Jazelle Hartwig and 16 from Sophia Coker in the win over the Royals.

Addison Lavicka added 13 points. Coker also had nine rebounds while Celina Ellenbecker had eight rebounds.
