Friday's high school roundup: Luper leads Exeter boys basketball past Windham

WINDHAM - The Exeter High School boys basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season as Ryan Luper's 21 points led the Blue Hawks to a 67-51 win over Windham in a Division I matchup.

Matt Cromer scored 14 points for Exeter, while Evan Pafford had 12.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Winnacunnet 73, Merrimack 50

MERRIMACK - Jared Khalil scored 24 points and Tyson Khalil added 17 for Winnacunnet (2-0) in this Division I win.

Campbell 75, Somersworth 67

LITCHFIELD - Aiden Heffron and Dante Guillory each scored 19 points for the Hilltoppers in this Division III loss. Dominic Starr added 12 points for Somersworth.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Dover 46, Salem 40

DOVER - Lily Nossiff had 16 points and Abbie Kozlowski had 13 points for Dover (2-0) in this Division I win. Lanie Mourgenos added 11 points for the Green Wave.

Exeter 69, Windham 53

EXETER - Emma Smith had 14 points, five rebounds, four steals, and four assists for Exeter (2-0) in this Division I win,

Rachel Ludwig added 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals for the Blue Hawks. Teammates Hailey Harrington (13 points, seven rebounds, four steals), Ali Campbell (14 points, four assists) and Karli Scherpf (13 points, three steals) all contributed.
