Friendly House seeking donations Friday for annual Thanksgiving baskets

WORCESTER — Donations of nonperishable food items for Friendly House's annual Thanksgiving basket distribution will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Stop & Shop, 949 Grafton St.

Jen Carter and Frank Foley, 104-5 XLO morning show hosts, will be at Stop & Shop, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to give away a $100 Stop & Shop gift card to one lucky winner.

All food collected will go directly to Friendly House of Worcester to be distributed to local families in need this Thanksgiving.

Friendly House promotes the educational, social and family betterment of the residents of Worcester and distributes over 1,000 turkey baskets to low-income families and individuals each year.
