Friends of the Erie County Library to host 'drive-thru' book donation at Blasco Library

Have any old books lying around? What about old CDs or DVDs?

Consider donating them to the Erie County Public Library and giving them a second life.

The Friends of the Erie County Library are hosting a “drive-thru” book drive Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Here's what to know.

Where to drop off items?

The drop-off will be located at the east end garage of Blasco Memorial Library off of Holland Street.

What can be donated?

Books in good condition, as well as used CDs, DVDs and puzzles can be donated.

What won’t be accepted?

Encyclopedias, Readers’ Digest condensed books, textbooks, magazines, VHS or cassette tapes won’t be accepted.
