Aug. 22—Fortunately for the volunteers setting up this year's Summer Book Sale at the Brunswick library, most of their work was done well before the air conditioning broke.

As always, the volunteers had begun setting up the massive sale in the library's conference room space days in advance so they'd be ready to open the sale Wednesday for members and Thursday to the public.
