Friends' Matthew Perry recently got his hands on the show's LEGO set – yes, it exists – but he wasn't too concerned with keeping things authentic.

The Chandler actor took to Twitter on Saturday (August 24) to announce that he'd just finished building the set, but with one key change: he made himself Batman. Well, LEGO Batman.

Although, according to him, it's not that much of an alteration – because he IS Batman (apparently).

"I built the Friends lego set. I made myself Batman. But that's neither here nor there. I'm Batman," he tweeted.

The LEGO Ideas set is a recreation of the Central Perk café's set, and comes with mini LEGO figure versions of Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe. And it wouldn't be Central Perk without Gunther, too.

The set features plenty of authentic details, from the iconic seating area to the stage where Phoebe performs with her guitar.

The whole seating area – which consists of the sofa, an armchair, two chairs and a table – is removable for easy play, while the rest of the set pays particular attention to the details, stocking the service area with a coffee machine, cookie jar (and cookies!), menu board and cash register, as well as including two TV studio light rigs to bring the set to life.

Each character figure also has their own item inspired by the TV show too, with Rachel sporting a tray and coffee cup in honour of her time as a waitress in the café, Phoebe rocking a guitar and Ross playing his keyboard.

Chandler has a laptop, for whatever his job is supposed to be, while Monica has a muffin and Joey gets a pizza box, pizza slice and his objectively stylish 'man bag'.

The set also comes complete with a LEGO newspaper, 15 coffee cups, vases, flowers and the reserved sign that means only the Friends can sit there.

The LEGO Ideas Central Perk set will be released on September 1, 2019 and you can add the set to your wish list for pre-ordering now.
