LEBANON – Two hundred and five Dartmouth Health physicians have been named by their peers as among the best doctors in New Hampshire, according to New Hampshire Magazine’s annual “Top Doctors” survey of the state’s doctors.

The recognized physicians are employed and/or provide services at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics around the state, Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, and New London Hospital. They are named across 54 specialties, including pediatrics, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, plastic surgery, hospital and palliative medicine, urology, cardiovascular disease, neurology, orthopaedic surgery, and many more.

New Hampshire Magazine partners with the national research firm Castle Connolly to distribute surveys to every licensed practicing Granite State physician. The physicians are asked to nominate specialists who they would recommend to friends and family for treatment. Those receiving the most nominations are named as the top doctors and represent leading physicians in their respective specialties.

LEBANON – Four employees from across the Dartmouth Health system have been named to the “40 Under Forty” list for 2023 by the New Hampshire Union Leader. The annual recognition showcases dedicated young professionals who are difference-makers in their careers or community, and oftentimes both.

Named this year are: Aalok V. Khole, MD, infectious disease physician at Cheshire Medical Center; Corneliu N. Stanciu, MD, director of addiction services at New Hampshire Hospital and assistant professor of psychiatry at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth; Courtney Tanner, JD, director of government relations at Dartmouth Health; and Tom Manion, MPA, president and CEO of New London Hospital.

“I’m very proud of our four Dartmouth Health employees who have been elected to the 2023 class of the Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty,” said Joanne M. Conroy, MD, CEO and president of Dartmouth Health. “They join the many Dartmouth Health 40 Under Forty alumni who go before them, representing the most influential young professionals in New Hampshire. In a rapidly aging state like ours, it is inspiring to see the next generation not only choosing to make New Hampshire their home, but doing their part to make our state a better, more equitable place to live, work and enjoy. As the Granite State’s largest private employer, Dartmouth Health is made stronger by these young leaders.”
