Frontier Airlines launches service from Charlotte to Cleveland

Frontier Airlines is expanding to a new destination with nonstop service from Charlotte this summer.

Starting Friday, you’ll be able to fly directly to Cleveland’s Hopkins International Airport. It’s the sixth city with nonstop flights on Frontier Airlines from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Frontier Airlines is known for cheaper airfares than other airlines, and members of the company’s “Discount Den” service can get tickets for under $50.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport has served as an American Airlines hub and there hadn’t been much competition for flight offerings, but Frontier and discount airliner Spirit have been expanding their service from the Queen City in recent years.

Frontier Airlines now has non-stop service from Charlotte to Orlando, Denver, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Trenton, and Cleveland.
