Frozen custard scoops are only $1 at Culver’s — but not for long. Here’s what to know

For one day only, Culver’s is offering $1 scoops of its fresh frozen custard — and it’s for a good cause.

Customers who donate a dollar can receive a single scoop of Culver’s frozen custard on May 4 as part of the burger chain’s Scoops of Thanks Day, according to a news release.

The annual fundraiser, which is in its ninth year, benefits Future Farmers of America chapters and other agricultural education groups, the release said. Customers can choose from chocolate, vanilla or the one-day exclusive “How Now Brown Cow.”

Created just for Scoops of Thanks Day, the limited-time flavor features “chocolate fresh frozen custard infused with Culver’s signature root beer swirled with chopped Dove Chocolate and chocolate cake pieces,” according to a product description.

“At Culver’s, supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders is something we’ve always taken great pride in,” Alison Demmer, Culver’s marketing and public relations manager and former Wisconsin FFA president, said in a statement.

To date, Culver’s said customers have donated more than $4 million to agricultural education initiatives since the launch of its Thank You Farmers Project in 2013.
