Fruita municipal elections on April 2

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The City of Fruita is holding its regular municipal election Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Residents will receive their ballots through the mail the week of March 11 through the 18.

“The date of the election is April 2,” said Margaret Sell, the finance director for the City of Fruita. “Those ballots need to be dropped off at city hall or placed in the mail so that we receive them by April 2 by 7:00 p.m.”

Ballots can be dropped off at the following locations.

  • Fruita City Clerk’s Office – Fruita Civic Center

    • 325 E. Aspen, Suite 155, Fruita, Colorado

    • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, April 2, 2024

  • Fruita Civic Center Parking Lot Ballot Drop Box

    • 325 E. Aspen, Fruita, CO

    • 24 hours/day until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, April 2, 2024
