Friday night’s Sheldon High School football game against Franklin High School was canceled after a fight, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said several students were involved in the fight, and those students were placed in a room with school officials until parents or guardians are contacted. The Elk Grove Unified School District told KCRA 3 that at one point, someone shouted that there was a gun, but that was found to not be true.
