Fully healthy Suns face West leader Nuggets minus two-time MVP Jokic

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (35) takes a shot against Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels (3) in the first half at Footprint Center in Phoenix on March 29, 2023.

Phoenix experienced a welcomed first with six games remaining.

The Suns (41-35) went into a game with no one on the injury report for the first time this season.

“I’m just glad we have everybody,” Suns coach Monty Williams said before Friday’s game against West leader Denver at Footprint Center.

The Nuggets (51-25) are on the opposite end of that with four starters out with two-time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic missing his second straight game with a right calf tightness.

Jokic sat Thursday’s loss against the Pelicans.

Jamal Murray (knee), Michael Porter Jr. (heel) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (non-COVID) are also out. They each played Thursday.

The Nuggets seem to be taking precautions as Porter and Murray are under injury management. Caldwell-Pope wasn't feeling well going into Thursday's game.

The Suns got Kevin Durant (ankle) back Wednesday after he missed three weeks with a left ankle sprain. Phoenix is 4-0 with him in the lineup after Wednesday's home win over Minnesota.
