Vaccinated White House staff were seen taking off their masks, following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's announcement that fully vaccinated individuals can take their masks off indoors as well as outdoors.

A White House aide made the announcement over a loud speaker, according to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs. Several White House reporters shared images of people's reactions.

The announcement meant that fully vaccinated reporters working in and around the White House could also remove their masks while working.
