Following the Concord house fire that killed three siblings, a family friend has set up a GoFundMe page.

Latresha Robinson launched the fundraiser on Monday writing “please help this mother bury her children.”

A veto override last week made North Carolina the 22nd state in the country to enact legislation restricting gender-affirming care for transgender youth.

But will the new laws hold up in court?

The Editorial Board looks to similar laws in other states and their legal challenges.

Social districts are all the rage across North Carolina these days, so why doesn’t Charlotte have one yet?

Over 30 cities and towns in the state have established social districts since North Carolina legalized the open container areas in 2021.
