Funeral arrangements announced for Harry Connick, Sr.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Arrangements have been made following the death of former Orleans Parish District Attorney Harry Connick, Sr.

Connick died at his New Orleans home on Thursday, Jan. 25 surrounded by his wife and children.

Visitation is set for Wednesday, Jan. 31 at St. Dominick Catholic Church on Harrison Avenue followed by a funeral mass at 2 p.m. The burial will be private.

Connick, Sr. retired in 2003, after serving for three decades, making him the longest tenured District Attorney for the city of New Orleans.

He and Londa were married for 29 years and had two children including pianist and actor Harry Connick, Jr.

Connick Sr. died at 97 years old.
