Funeral procession route announced for fallen Clark County deputy
Deputies announced the procession route between funeral and gravesite for fallen Clark County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Matthew Yates.

Yates’ funeral services were held Monday at First Christian Church on Middle Urbana Road in Springfield. Following the funeral, Yates’ body will be escorted to his burial site at Ferncliff Cemetery on West McCreight Avenue.

The procession, including dozens of police vehicles from around the region and state, will travel from the church west onto state Route 334, then south onto U.S. 68. The procession will continue south on U.S. 68 to state Route 41, then to the cemetery.
