Funnel Cloud Seen Over Chantilly Amid Tornado Warning

A funnel cloud was seen in Chantilly, Virginia, as severe storms as a tornado warning was in place for Fairfax County on March 31.

Lisa Abrahams was in a Walmart in Chantilly when she received a tornado warning. However, she said it was too late for her to take shelter, so she recorded this footage from the parking lot outside.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning across Fairfax County but it has yet to confirm if the tornado touched down. It also issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Washington DC and surrounding areas. Credit: Lisa Abrahams via Storyful
