Greenhill Humane Society

Meet Devon, an extra handsome 7-year-old domestic longhair mixed cat. He is a mostly gray kitty with a white chest and bold, green eyes. Before coming to Greenhill, he was a neighborhood stray. Someone noticed that he was limping and out of concern he was taken to the emergency vet hospital then transferred to Greenhill after it was determined that he had a broken pelvis. It is unknown how he may have sustained this injury but after being neutered and receiving the necessary treatment, he is on the road to recovery and feeling much better. Devon is a friendly and affectionate cat who is very social and loyal. He will require more time to recover from his injury so he is looking for a relaxing home to call his own.

Devon is FIV positive. This means he has a compromised immune system but with regular vet visits and an indoor home, he will do very well. He can’t interact with other cats unless they are FIV positive. He may do ok with a calm dog after a slow introduction. Devon is adoptable and ready to go home, so please come out and visit him to see if you might like to be his future partner.

Devon is part of the Cat-a-Pawlooza special! Until July 16 his adoption fee is $23 along with all cats over 1-year-old. Greenhill Humane Society is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information call 541-689-1503 or visit www.green-hill.org.

Rusty
Rusty

Rusty is a big beautiful orange-and-white gentleman about 8 years old who would love a home to call his own. He takes things at his own speed, but with gentle encouragement, he eventually warms up to new people. He needs to be the only cat in a quiet home where he knows he's safe and his humans will pet and brush him. He’ll be an excellent companion for someone who can appreciate an independent cat and loves the presence of a soft, furry friend. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FIV & FeLV. To meet Rusty, please call 541-225-4955 option 1, or visit our website at CatRescues.org.
