This week, on Tuesday, Jan. 23, Aimee Brown with the Franklin County Humane Society introduced Zayla to Furry Friends!

Zayla is a sweet four-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 58 pounds. She has two different colored eyes—one brown and one icy blue. While she loves to play, Zayla also has a gentle personality.

She would do well with any family with a big backyard for her to run in. However, she may prefer a family with older children. Aimee says Zayla has lived with other dogs and has done well with cats.

Zayla is just one of many furry friends ready for their fur-ever home. The Franklin County Humane Society Planned Pethood Clinic and Adoption Center is currently open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, with the dog area closing at 2 p.m. However, if your adoption application is approved, other times can be arranged.
