Future Black History Makers: Meet Eryn Ford, a third-grader at College Lakes Elementary

Eryn Ford, 9, the daughter of Eddie Ford IV and Ebony Ford, is in third grade at College Lakes Elementary School.

She was nominated as a Future Black History Maker because "Eryn is the personification of charisma, intelligence, perseverance, and humor!" writes her mom, Ebony Ford, who nominated her. "I became severely ill this year and she made a mature decision to maintain good grades, perfect attendance, soccer, and also making me laugh with her animated stories while on treatment. Eryn never meets a stranger and she wants to become a principal like her dad when she grows up. Eryn is supportive of her brown skin and very anti-bully! She has a record of standing up for her friends."
