Julian Holmes, 6, is in kindergarten at Brentwood Elementary School.
He was nominated as a Future Black History Maker because "Julian guides his classmates through his knowledge and experiences. He sets positive examples of leadership and respect. Julian has good communication skills and communicates his ideas to anyone who comes into his presence. He is creative and enjoys constructing projects. Julian influences his classmates as he speaks on major topics. He shows empathy for his classmates and assists them when needed. He is a very intelligent student," his nominator writes.
