  • Gabrielle Union, 46, just shared a series of no-makeup selfies with her daughter, Kaavia James.

  • The America’s Got Talent judge is beaming while enjoying a precious mother-daughter moment with her baby girl.

  • Before Kaavia’s birth, Union was honest about her struggles to become a mother.

In case you need some cheering up today, Gabrielle Union’s got you covered: The 46-year-old actress and America’s Got Talent judge posted a series of makeup-free Instagram selfies with her adorable daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, on Sunday—and the two are seriously adorable together.

“Sunday sweetness with my thoroughest girl @kaaviajames,” the caption reads, alongside three photos of a bare-faced and radiant Union sporting a huge smile and stylish hat. Kaavia, on the other hand, is donning a pair of pink pajamas and looking a little skeptical (while winning the award for cutest 10-month-old ever, of course).

The comments and likes immediately rolled in, with actor Michael Ealy commenting “Dem cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks” and costume designer Ruth Carter writing “Those eyes 😍😍😍.” From her cheeks to her eyes, there’s no doubt about it: Kaavia is flat-out adorable.

The video she posted just prior to the selfies was equally precious. Union holds a suspicious-looking Kaavia while eerie music plays in the background. “Big Mood. Friday the 13th. Don’t Trust It. 😅😅🤣👼🏾😬🤣👼🏾”

Union has been pretty open about her life as a new mom, but it looks like she’s soaking in every bit of it. “When she smiles, I feel unstoppable,” she wrote in a past post.

There’s a reason Union can’t stop smiling every time she’s with her baby girl (who has her own Instagram account, by the way). Born in November 2018, Kaavia was a long-awaited miracle for Union and her husband, former professional basketball player Dwyane Wade. Before Kaavia’s birth, Union was honest about her struggles to become a mother. In addition to undergoing fertility treatment, she opened up about suffering from “eight or nine” miscarriages in her 2017 memoir, We’re Going To Need More Wine.

“Kaavia James Union Wade’s journey into our arms was long and at times brutal,” Union wrote in an Instagram video caption when Kaavia was born last year via surrogate. “There were heartbreaks that nearly broke us and streams of tears that turned into raging rivers. And then came Kaavia James. This is our birth journey. Thank you all for the love, support and understanding and all the people who held us up when we lost hope. Watch it with love. Watch it with hope.”

We’ll take these sweet mother-daughter moments any day of the week. Keep ‘em coming!
