Gabrielle Union Pairs a Semi-Sheer Sweater Dress with a Valentino Bag

Gabrielle Union elevated a classic style while looking back on her outstanding career.

The actress took part in the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations series last night, where she and Hidden Figures actress Octavia Spencer discussed Unions decades of experience in Hollywood. For the career retrospective, the Bring It On actress chose a sophisticated spin on a cozy sweater dress while dipping her toe into the naked dress trend.

The star's long-sleeved, maxi-length dress was made of a caramel-toned, semi-sheer fabric which showed the spaghetti-strap slip she wore underneath. She finished the look with a pair of matching heeled sandals, small gold hoops, and a layered pearl ring, while wearing her hair in a braided top knot.

For a Instagram clip soundtracked by Beenie Man and Janet Jackson's "Feel It Boy," she added a white and gold Valentino flap bag that popped against the monochromatic look.

"Art Is Life. Feel it booiiiii 🖤🖤🖤," she wrote in the caption.

Union's style has been on display throughout the past month, as she's been promoting her new Disney animated film, Strange World. For a Good Morning America appearance, she chose a whimsical dress from Loewe's 2023 Resort collection, which was covered in orange-red, white, and blue asymmetrical stripes. The piece's knee-length hem also was decorated with several orb appendages.

She finished the summery look with a pair of lime-green heeled mules, and wore her hair straight in a shoulder-length bob.
