Gabrielle Union Shows Off Christmas Family Photo Amid Controversy Surrounding Her 'America's Got Talent' Exit
The controversy over Gabrielle Union being fired from "America's Got Talent" is dampening the actresses' enjoyment of the holiday season. On Saturday, she shared several photos on Instagram of herself with her two kids in front of a huge Christmas tree in what appears to be their backyard. "My [loves]. Family Time Is The Best Time," she wrote, adding a Christmas tree and gift emoji.

The post comes after a week filled with backlash directed at NBC after a Variety report revealed that Union was let go after voicing concerns to executives of potentially racist and sexist behavior at the network.
Union said that she and the network met on Friday to discuss her concerns. "We had a lengthy 5-hour, and what I thought to be, productive meeting yesterday. I was able to, again, express my unfiltered truth. I led with transparency and my desire and hope for real change," she tweeted.
Lots of celebs have been rallying to support Union. "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo tweeted: "It’s unfortunate that @nbc the same network that protected disgusting men like Matt Lauer and punished women for speaking out or not putting up with it...has not changed their practices or culture. I support @itsgabrielleu commitment to speaking up to injustice. It takes courage"
Actress Viola Davis also has Union's back. "I always say that I never want my legacy to be one where I did not support," she told PEOPLE. "Because I know that when you step out and say something that is out of the norm, there is a lot of shame involved and there’s vitriol involved, and we have the cancel culture. I didn’t want Gabrielle Union to feel alone."
