Gahanna has announced its summer lineup for the 2022 Creekside Live series that kicks off June 10.

Stephania Ferrell, director of Gahanna Parks & Recreation, said May 17 that Creekside Live would return to Creekside Park and Plaza, 117 Mill St., every other Friday, with opening acts playing from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by headliners from 7 to 10 p.m..

Creekside Live, presented by Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, is a great reason to visit the Creekside area to enjoy some live music from many different genres,  Ferrell said.

She said this season marks the first full return of the concert series since 2019.

Those of legal drinking age also will be permitted to enjoy an adult beverage from one of the participating businesses in the Creekside Outdoor Refreshment Area.

The Pretty Filth, featuring lead vocalist Angela Kulow, will kick off the series, performing rock hits from the 1980s, such as Journey, Poison, Bon Jovi and Joan Jett.

“The Pretty Filth plays instantly recognizable hits that get the crowds on their feet and out on the dance floor,” Kulow said. “Our high-energy stage show, power-packed setlist, and '80s rockin’ attitude and style make (us) Columbus’ premier '80s cover band. We look forward to playing Creekside Live.”
