Gal Gadot posts heartfelt message after production wraps on 'Wonder Woman 1984'

Gal Gadot is reflecting on her time filming "Wonder Woman 1984" with a heartwarming photo and message on Instagram.

As filming on "Wonder Woman 1984" wraps, the movie's star Gal Gadot is reflecting on her time on set during the sequel.

Gadot shared a photo from the set of the sequel with director Patty Jenkins and members of the crew in an Instagram post on Sunday, writing a heartfelt message to accompany it.

"We did it. Again!! And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special," Gadot wrote in the caption. "We shot in 4 very different locations in 3 countries, and I'm so soooo proud of the almost 1000 crew members who came to set every day, giving everything they have into our movie."

She went on to thank Jenkins, who also directed 2017's critically acclaimed "Wonder Woman," as well as the "talented cast."

"I'm so lucky to have the one and only Patty Jenkins, as my director," Gadot said. "She always has our backs, she gives us the wings to dare, and everyday she helped us find the most creative version of ourselves .. I am so grateful to call her my friend. And to our AMAZINGly talented cast who made every day enjoyable and fun, thank you!"

She continued: "Honestly.. Words cannot describe this experience.. This journey was so demanding and challenging but we all came and did our very best every take, every day, putting our all out there and I’m so proud."

Gadot showed some love to fans and her Diana Prince/Wonder Woman character.

"Thank you universe for this opportunity," she continued. "I love this character. And thank you to all of you for being the best fans in the world. It was you that made me push myself every day."

And although the movie's premiere date has been pushed back to the summer of 2020, Gadot is excitedly awaiting sharing the movie with fans.

"I'm so happy and excited," she said. "Can't wait to share it with you in 2020!"
