Galentine's Day: 4 places to celebrate the Parks and Rec holiday in Indianapolis

Galentine’s Day is fast approaching, and local restaurants want in on your ladies-celebrating-ladies plans.

Our girl Leslie Knope introduced us to the “holiday” back in back in 2010, as a day to toast girlfriends, sisterhood and friendship. "A Parks and Recreation" episode showed Knope’s tradition of a galpal brunch the day before Valentine’s Day.

The “holiday” jumped over into real life and in recent years has become increasingly popular, with mass-produced Galentine’s Day-themed products and restaurants welcoming celebrants with special menus.

Sure, some of them are observing Galentine’s Day all willy-nilly; but that means more days with drink specials to spread the love.

Here are spots hosting Galentine’s Day specials — some before and some after Feb. 13.
