LPD held a goodbye and good luck celebration for Chief Seratte Wednesday, complete with a trophy to signify his time with the City of Lawton, a bell ringing, and plenty of hugs to last the next 24 years.

When the City of Abilene announced that Chief Seratte would be coming to APD last December, city manager Robert Hanna said, “We were impressed with Mr. Seratte’s leadership qualities and integrity, as well as his commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.”
