Game balls: 6 standouts from the Bills’ win over Washington Football Team

For the second consecutive week, Buffalo completely dominated their opponent. The Bills started quickly, jumping out to a 21-0 lead over Washington and ending with a 43-21 victory. The Bills ended up outgaining Washington 481-291 in total yards. Buffalo’s defense also recorded three takeaways, leaving little doubt at who was the superior team Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium.

Josh Allen

Allen threw four touchdowns on a 32-of-43 day and 358 passing yards. Allen added a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to top off a stellar afternoon.

Emmanual Sanders

The veteran ended the day with five receptions for 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Cole Beasley

The Bills placed an emphasis on getting the ball out of quarterback Josh Allen's hand quickly. This put Beasley as a top priority in the passing attack today. The slot standout did not disappoint, as he caught 11-of-13 targets for 98 receiving yards.

Dawson Knox

Knox finished the day with four receptions for 49 receiving yards. However, the touchdown catch has people salivating on what Knox could be if he makes these catches on a consistent basis.

Matt Milano

Milano is just everywhere for Buffalo. He recovered a fumble that was forced by Tre'Davious White. He's Buffalo's most complete defender, tracking opponents sideline-to-sideline and pretty much completing any task that defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier asks of him. Milano is making his new contract look like a bargain.

Brian Daboll

Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll earns a game ball for the offense's strategy against Washington. It was perfect. Some critics in Western New York were concerned that quarterback Josh Allen was not bombing the ball down the field like last year, and the run game was not operating at a consistently high level. Well, Daboll put that all to rest. The game plan emphasized quick passes. Daboll also pushed the tempo with his play calls, leaving a strong Washington pass rush largely ineffective.
