The Warriors defeated the Pacers, 111-107. Stephen Curry recorded 24 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Warriors, while Draymond Green added 12 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists in the victory. Domantas Sabonis tallied 22 points, 16 rebounds and four assists for the Pacers in the losing effort. The Warriors improve to 18-15 on the season, while the Pacers fall to 15-15.
- Domantas Sabonis left off the Eastern Conference All-Star team despite some very good numbers. Good news is he and his Pacers teammates actually got to play a game for the first time in a week with All-Stars stars Steph Curry and the Warriors in town. Steph, 37 on Tuesday night against the Knicks in New York-- didn't have that kind of touched on this one. That's his only made 3 in 11 attempts, and so the Dubs would have to do it in a different way.
Curry to Kelly Oubre great for the layup. And then Curry close to the rim. Beautiful reverse there. Golden State up by two.
Second quarter. Indy needs some offense. Malcolm Brogdon, under All-Star consideration as well, had a nice night as the floater falls for him there. Later, Golden State dodges a bullet as Curry goes to the rim. He's smacked in the face by Myles Turner. Ouch. Curry ended up with 24 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and one very sore nose, but he would stick around the game. Indiana up by two at the half.
Third quarter, it's Turner to Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon with 24 on the night. Indiana has the lead. It's 75-74.
Draymond Green running the floor, running the show. James Weisman, the big rook, with the finish. Golden State extends the lead to four. Green in for the dunk-- one rebound shy of a triple-double as he goes for 12, 9, and 11.
And then it's Curry as the extra man comes to him looking for the open man. It's Oubre. He connects. Golden State up by seven. They hang on to win it, 111 to 107.
