‘Game of Thrones’ Finale Screwup: Not One, But TWO Water Bottles!

Move over “Game of Thrones” coffee cup and make way for “Game of Thrones” water bottles!

Two weeks after viewers spotted a stray cup sitting in front of Daenerys Targaryen, two different water bottles were seen on screen during a pivotal scene in the series finale that aired on Sunday night.

When Tyrion Lannister stood before the last remaining ladies and lords of Westeros, two plastic bottles were left on the ground — one near Lord Davos Seaworth and another at the feet of Samwell Tarly.

While many “GoT” fans made the same “A Song of Coffee and Water” jokes, others equated the two mishaps with the show’s drop in quality in the final season.

“Game of Thrones leaving a plastic water bottle sitting there in the finale is such perfect symbolism for a show that spent the last two seasons rushing to get done and ignoring the important little details that made it great in the first place,” wrote one fan.

Another joked, “Should we just start re-watching every episode of Game of Thrones for stray water bottles and coffee cups?”
