The first trailer for Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ spy series, Citadel, has been released.

The two-part Prime Video show promises to be an action-packed, tense thriller, as both Madden (Game of Thrones) and Chopra Jones (The Matrix Resurrections) play as elite spies working for the Citadel, before it was destroyed by rogue operatives known as the Manticore.

Unfortunately, neither Chopra Jonas’ character Nadia or Madden’s Mason can remember the other, as their memories were wiped.

In the trailer we see Mason track Nadia down, where she tells him they’ve met before in her dreams, before he discloses that they knew each other in the past.

He reveals that the last thing he can remember is them being in an explosion on a train together, which seems to be the defining moment of the collapse of their agency, before he woke up and couldn’t remember anything other than her face.

The duo have to then work together to uncover the truth about their past to try and "save their future" as they figure out who they can trust.

Stanley Tucci is on hand to call the shots as Nadia’s man in the chair/her former espionage associate, before the Citadel was double crossed and a new world order had to be established.
