Just last week, Turner was confirmed for a new role in gothic-horror movie The Dreadful, reuniting with her former Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington.

The actress will play the leading part of Anne, whose life is turned upside down when a man from her past (Harington) makes an unexpected return.

Turner will be next on screen in the highly anticipated ITV drama Joan, based on the real-life story of notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington.

She stars alongside Fear the Walking Dead's Frank Dillane in the six-part thriller, who is coincidentally the son of fellow Game of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane.
