GameCenter final: Omaha 2, UND 1

First star: Simon Latkoczy, Omaha, 40 saves.

Second star: Jacob Guevin, Omaha, 1 goal, 1 assist.

Third star: Drew DeRidder, UND, 26 saves.

No scoring.

Omaha 1, UND 0 — Jacob Guevin (Davis Pennington, Jacob Slipec) 4:29. Omaha cycles the puck around the perimeter until it gets to Guevin at the right point. Guevin launches a shot toward the net with four players on top of the crease. His shot appears to hit Frisch and deflect in.

Omaha 2, UND 0 — Davis Pennington (Jacob Guevin, Kaden Bohlsen) 7:02. Bohlsen, at the top of the zone, drops a pass to Guevin in the right circle. Guevin makes an outstanding cross-ice seam pass to hit Pennington in space. Pennington steps into the left circle and snaps his first goal of the season past UND goalie Drew DeRidder.

Omaha 2, UND 1 — Riese Gaber (Jake Schmaltz, Chris Jandric) 18:46 (ex). Gaber gets the puck in the right circle with the extra attacker. He toe drags it and snipes high glove for his 20th of the season. He's the first UND player to score 20 in a season since Shane Gersich in 2016-17.
