Waldron walks around UND defender Brent Johnson and picks the corner of the net for his second collegiate goal.

Miami 2, UND 0 — Matthew Barbolini (Axel Kumlin, John Waldron) 17:11 (pp). The RedHawks, who didn't attempt a shot on any of their three power plays Friday, score on their first chance Saturday. Kumlin hammers a point shot, DeRidder leaves a rebound and Barbolini picks it up and fires a backhand for a 2-0 RedHawks lead.

Second period

Miami 3, UND 0 — Blake Mesenburg (Jack Olmstead, Alex Murray) 5:33. UND has possession of the puck in the neutral zone, fails to get it deep and it comes back and burns them. Olmstead flutters a shot off the post and Mesenburg is there to pound home the rebound for his second goal of the weekend. UND starter Drew DeRidder is pulled after the goal for Jakob Hellsten.

Miami 3, UND 1 — Riese Gaber (Chris Jandric, Jackson Blake) 15:37 (pp). UND continues its streak of scoring on the power play in every game this season. Gaber has the puck between the dots and snaps one through a Louis Jamernik V screen for his ninth goal of the season.
