At around 4:30 a.m., Memphis Police officers responded to the GameStop in Cordova. A group of eight men in four vehicles– a white Audi SUV, a black Infiniti sedan, a gray Hyundai sedan, and a white sedan– arrived at the business.

Video footage showed them breaking into the store and stealing video game consoles, controllers and games off the shelves. They also went into the storage room to take more items.

They fled the scene, but MPD later found an abandoned Audi and Farm Road and Walnut Grove. The car had video games and consoles inside.

MPD says the vehicle matched the description of a car used in the burglary of a different GameStop on Park Avenue.

Bartlett Police say despite the doors being shattered, video footage showed that no one entered and no merchandise was taken.
