The 74th Annual Hudson Home & Garden Tour will take place June 17-18,with a few modifications but with much of the charm and tradition of the previous tours.

The Friday 10 am-7 pm and Saturday 10 am-4 pm schedule is a change, plus the day of ticket purchases and Garden Shop/Tea Room location will now be located at East Wood Elementary School, 120 N. Hayden Pkwy.

Co-chair Bronwyn Pierson is expecting great support of the 2022 tour as “we are all looking at our homes and yards differently after spending so much time in them over the past 2 years. The tour will provide a lot of inspiration for homeowners wanting to make some changes. Plus, we all love to see beautiful spaces.”

The tour will feature seven homes with outdoor living spaces, gardens and outbuildings accompanying several of the tour destinations. From updated century homes and carriage houses with guest suites, to a reclaimed barn updated for modern living to a modern build in the style of Old World Williamsburg to first floor living additions and renovated living areas – the tour has something for everyone.

Each home will also feature flower arrangements created by Hudson Garden Club members using natural material grown and cut from local gardens. “Many of our attendees have commented over the years that they enjoy the unique and home-grown arrangements as much as the houses and gardens,” said Pierson.

Plein Air painters will be found at all the homes as they capture the natural and architectural beauty of the tour stops on canvas. The artwork is available for sale at Hudson Fine Art and Framing, 160 N. Main St., during an evening reception on Saturday, June 18.

Presale tickets ($35) are available online and at ACME Fresh Market (cash/check only at 116 W. Streetsboro St.) along with drive-up ticket purchases ($40) the days of the tour.

At East Wood Elementary School, attendees can stop in to peruse the Garden Shop with perennials for the garden and thousands of treasures for the house and yard – all at garage sale prices. The shop is open to the public without a ticket for the tour, and patrons can also enjoy the Clothesline Art Show by the Hudson Society of Artists. The complimentary Tea Room will be open from 1-4 pm to refresh after enjoying the tour and the Garden Shop.

A buffet lunch will also be offered with presale & day of tickets (if available) at The Country Club of Hudson, 2155 Middleton Road. The buffet will include artisan breads, seasonal fruits, a selection of salads, herbed chicken breast, and Italian focaccia sandwiches, finishing with mini dessert selections. Attendees will dine on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Details will be available at www.hudsongardenclub.org.

Come for the tour and stay to enjoy Hudson Festivals Days including the Ice Cream Social and Screen on the Green on the evening of June 17;, the Hudson Farmers Market and Plein Air Artists reception on June 18; or any of the dining opportunities in Historic Downtown Hudson.

Proceeds from the tour will support the Garden Club’s annual scholarships, grants, school programs, mentoring workshops and community projects.
