Garden State Parkway five-car crash kills Toms River woman

WALL - A five-car pileup on the Garden State Parkway near Wall around noon Friday resulted in the death of a Toms River woman, according to State Police.

The woman was identified as Kathy Suchodolski, 58, said New Jersey State Trooper Charles Marchan.

According to Marchan, a Hyundai, GMC, Ford, Kia and Jeep were traveling south on the Garden State Parkway near milepost 96.8. The GMC collided with the rear of the Hyundai, the front of the Ford collided with the GMC, the GMC collided with the Kia and the Kia collided with the Jeep.

Suchodolski was driving the GMC, according to Marchan.

The driver of the Hyundai, Heather M. Locke, 36, of Brick, and the driver of the Ford, Vincent G. McMaster, 30, of Howell, suffered moderate injuries, according to Marchan.
