The first weekend in June offers a wide variety of family friendly indoor and outdoor activities in the area. Here are some to check out.

Friday Night Flix

What: ASM Global and Davis Park at Founders Landing kick off 2022 Friday Night Flix series in downtown Rockford with a showing of Sing 2.

When: Friday at dusk, at approximately 8:45 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets early to reserve a spot

Future is Now

What: A group art show for today and tomorrow featuring the talents of Betsy Youngquist, Karl Jahnke, Chinacat 663, Keelan McMorrow, Laura Gomel, Nikki Hollander, Alison Dean, Mossy Vaughn, Brett Whitacre, Solvej Jordahl, Eamonn James, Rhiannon Yandell, Sya Ryn, Joei Krutza, Angie Loptien and more.

When: Opening night reception is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The show runs through July.

Garden Fair Weekend
