Garrett Wilson signs rookie contract with Jets

Former Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson has officially signed his rookie contract with the New York Jets, and it’s a whopper.

There’s no official word on the contract terms, but according to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter, the deal is a four-year, fully guaranteed $20.55 million, just a smudge behind Chris Olave’s also fully guaranteed amount of just over $19.2 million as reported.

With the signing, four of OSU’s six draft picks have now signed deals. We are still waiting on Jeremy Ruckert and Nicholas Petit-Frere to ink their contracts with the Jets and Titans respectively.

We will continue to keep tabs on more numbers as they become available.

Ohio State football continues to put guys in the NFL that have massive paydays, and that is another sharp object in the tool chest of recruiting for Ryan Day and staff to use.
