Overwhelming interest in Garth Brooks' rescheduled, rained-out 2021 tour date has led to another date. On Monday, Brooks announced a second 2022 performance date at Music City's Nissan Stadium for April 15. Tickets for the Country Music Hall of Famer's show will be on sale Friday at 10 a.m. CT.

This follows Brooks' February 23 announcement that he was returning to the venue on April 16 after his July 31, 2021, date in Nashville was rained out. Nissan Stadium officials attempted to move the concert to August. However, that did not occur.

These will be Garth's final Stadium Tour stops in Nashville and the only Stadium Tour in Tennessee and Kentucky. There is a limit of eight tickets per purchase and will cost $94.95, all-inclusive.

"I heard you. For those people who came and got rained out at [2021's] Nashville show -- and had great seats -- and when the tickets went on sale when [we] rescheduled the show, [you ended up with] maybe not so great seats, get ready," stated Brooks via Twitter. "There's a new opening night. I owe you this. This is gonna be great."

The abbreviated July show kicked off under overcast skies with Chris Young, Emmylou Harris and Brooks' wife, Trisha Yearwood. Concertgoers sheltered within the stadium concourses. Ninety minutes later, the show was canceled outright.
