Garth Brooks will headline the annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey gala at ACL Live this spring.

The two-day fundraiser event, which is spearheaded by former Texas Longhorns football coach Mack Brown, musician Jack Ingram and actor Matthew McConaughey, is slated for April 27-28. Brooks will perform on Thursday. A golf tournament, runway show, luncheon and Jack & Friends concert at ACL Live will happen Friday.

Money raised from the 2023 event will go to CureDuchenne, Dell Children's Medical Center, HeartGift, just keep livin Foundation and The Rise School of Austin, according to a news release.

“Garth will add unforgettable energy, spirit, and storytelling through song to our gala stage,” McConaughey said in a statement. “Every year Mack, Jack and I are humbled by the support we receive that allows us to serve so many young men and women in need.”

Brooks has made several memorable appearances in the Austin area in recent years: a South by Southwest marathon that included a show at Broken Spoke in 2017, a stop at Gruene Hall in 2019 and an official farewell to original "Austin City Limits" home Studio 6A last year.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 21 and can be purchased at acllive.com.
