Garth Brooks Plans to Be the Only Person at Trisha Yearwood’s 20-Person Thanksgiving Feast

That's a LOT of heaping plates of food for the country star.

"I toasted you said, turkey, we may be through, but you'll never hear me complain."

That may very well be the modified lyric this Thanksgiving for Garth Brooks from his anthemic "Friends in Low Places," since he plans on gobbling up a 20 person feast—for himself—next Thursday.

In a recent interview with Good Morning America to promote his two new albums, studio record, Fun, and Triple Live Deluxe, a compilation of live tracks from his Stadium Tour and his world tour with wife Trisha Yearwood, Brooks also revealed his intentions to eat quite the meal this Thanksgiving.

"Well, Thanksgiving plans are going to be the same and totally different at the same time. What the deal is, she's still going to cook for 20 people, it's just going to be me," he explains to the show's hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos, with a mischievous smirk gracing his lips.

He may be slightly exaggerating, but considering Yearwood is an accomplished cookbook author and the host of the Food Network's Trisha's Southern Kitchen, we're guessing he knows what he's up against, like Yearwood's grandma's cornbread dressing and plenty of other holiday comfort food favorites. So passionate a chef is Yearwood, in fact, that one of her all-time favorite gifts from Brooks' was a very sentimental grocery shopping cart from her hometown supermarket, Red and White, in Monticello, Georgia, which she uses to unload her supermarket haul in her home.

If Trisha is taking on this giant cooking endeavor for her better half, we sure hope Brooks is at the ready to assist with cleanup. Let us know how much of that cornbread dressing makes it to the fridge as leftovers, Mr. Brooks.
