Gary Parrish leaving 92.9 FM ESPN for Grind City Media

Gary Parrish, host of a late afternoon sports talk show on 92.9 FM ESPN from 4-6 p.m., announced Friday would be his last episode and that he's been hired by Grind City Media and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Parrish will host a new weekday show on Grind City Media, which will debut sometime in April. He'll still continue his duties as a national college basketball columnist and analyst for CBS Sports and added that he wanted to start his new show after the conclusion of the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Parrish has hosted "The Gary Parrish Show" on 92.9 ESPN since January 2010. The station hasn't announced how it will fill the time slot.

Parrish spent seven years with The Commercial Appeal before being hired by CBS Sports in 2006.
