As Florida prepares for the impact of Tropical Storm Idalia, gas prices continue to fall in the Sunshine State.

On Sunday, the average price per gallon in the state was $3.71, the lowest daily average since late July.

But central and south Florida residents who filled up at some Citgo stations on Saturday might need to check their gas tanks. Over the weekend, the state's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services found potentially widespread fuel contamination after diesel fuel was mixed with regular gas.

The state's price gouging hotline is also open. You can make a report to the Attorney General’s Price Gouging Hotline at 1-866-966-7226. You may also report violations via the No Scam app or online at: http://myfloridalegal.com.
